Why Sri Lankan coconut
Sri Lanka (historically Ceylon) is one of the world's established coconut origins, alongside Indonesia, the Philippines and India. Its coconut belt supplies the full processed range, from oils and desiccated coconut to milk powder, cream, flour, water and coconut-nectar sugars.
For B2B buyers, origin is a sourcing decision with real trade-offs. Our coconut is made from fully mature Cocos nucifera sourced through a direct-trade smallholder grower network, and processed in FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP-certified facilities with no preservatives, colours or flavours unless declared.

Traceability runs from farm to shipment. Our coconut is processed at our Matale facility, with traceability up to farm level on organic SKUs, and every batch carries its own Certificate of Analysis. Buyers qualifying us as a supplier are welcome to ask for the certificate scope statement alongside the certificate number, so it is clear which process, whether pressing, desiccating, spray-drying or retort-filling, sits inside it.
Forms and formats
We supply coconut across the forms and packs buyers run: virgin and RBD oils, spray-dried milk powder, desiccated grades for bakery and confectionery, retort-sterilised and aseptic liquids (milk, cream and water), and glass-jar spreads (jam and treacle). Tell us the product, format and volume and we will match it.
Specifications buyers ask for
Coconut grade is judged on a small set of measurable parameters that move independently, not on appearance alone. The figures below are the published reference limits for the category; the exact result on your Certificate of Analysis depends on the specific product and lot, and we confirm it against your written specification before every order.
Format changes which of these numbers matters most. A brand specifying virgin oil for a flavour claim should hold free fatty acid and moisture tightly and accept a wider organoleptic band; a brand specifying RBD oil for colour and shelf consistency is buying the opposite trade-off, since refining normalises colour and clarity at the expense of the volatile aroma profile.

- Free fatty acid up to 0.2% (as lauric acid), moisture up to 0.15%, peroxide value up to 3 meq/kg (Asian and Pacific Coconut Community standard)
- Desiccated coconut
- Moisture up to 4% m/m, oil 60% m/m minimum for full-fat, sieve fraction by grade (Codex Standard CXS 177-1991)
- Coconut milk powder / cream
- Fat percentage matched to your target grade; moisture and free-fat, confirmed per SKU on request
- Microbiology
- Total plate count, yeast and mould, Salmonella and E. coli, available on request per lot

Certifications
Our coconut supply chain is certified to BRCGS, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22000 and GMP. USDA Organic and EU Organic certification applies to selected SKUs, so we confirm the organic status of the specific SKU you are interested in.

What a first order looks like
- Minimum order
- From 50 kg per SKU. Capsule runs start at 180 bottles.
- Samples
- 3 to 5 business days, door to door.
- Production
- 2 to 3 weeks from purchase order to dispatch.
- Certification
- BRCGS, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22000 and GMP. USDA Organic and EU Organic on selected SKUs, confirmed for the SKU you need.
Packaging and export logistics
Oils ship in bulk drums or IBCs, or in retail glass or PET where you want the SKU filled at origin. Desiccated coconut and powders ship in multiwall sacks with an LDPE inner liner. Milk, cream and water ship as retort-sterilised or aseptic liquids in pouches or cartons, and spreads ship in glass jars. All formats are cased or palletised for container loading; case configuration and pallet pattern are confirmed against your destination market.
Our default pricing basis is FOB Colombo, which is usually the fairest basis for comparing landed cost against a competing exporter's CIF or DDP price; both are quoted on request. Every shipment carries a certificate of origin and a phytosanitary certificate, and a Certificate of Analysis on every batch, with an organic transaction certificate for the specific lot on certified-organic SKUs. Sample dispatch, production lead time and freight transit are three separate clocks worth planning against separately rather than as one number.

You can take any of these under your own brand. We run private-label, own-brand-manufacturing and co-packing programmes across coconut oils, spray-dried powders, retort and aseptic liquids, and glass-jar spreads, from your recipe and pack format to a certified export run.

How to order
- Send your specification. Contact us with the product, format, pack size, volume and destination market. No spec yet? Tell us the application and we will propose one.
- Confirm and sample. We confirm grade, certification and organic status against your SKU and dispatch samples in 3 to 5 business days.
- Approve and place the PO. Once samples are approved, we confirm pricing (FOB Colombo by default), packaging and Incoterm, and issue a pro-forma invoice.
- Production and dispatch. Production runs 2 to 3 weeks from purchase order to dispatch, with a COA on every batch and full export documentation.
